He expects potential Dem voters will be progressives instead and considering that Nym90 won with a margin of one vote with one Rep missing that he was in time to vote, and thus didn't bother and another one coming in jsut a little too late to vote and one Rep crossing over as well as one now progressive voting for him, prospects are now bleak for another Dem term. Basically. Wink

---Official Statement---

There was a possibility of the AFWVPP affiliating with the AFWVDP, but after disagreements over economic policy, the members of the AFWVDP rejected affiliation.

A new GusNews poll show that 44% of registered voters declare themselves to be Republicans, 44% to Democrats and the new Progressive Party gets as many as 11% of voters behind them, surprisingly high for such a new party. Analysts believe that this is bad news for the Republicans, who had a clear lead in voter registration leading up to the election and lost the presidential election despite the majority of the voters being registered Republicans.

No, not yet, I suppose it would be Progressive, but I need to learn more about their positions on issues before I can agree to them. They'll likely be my choice though.

Yeah....he never was.....but....although Dunn may have formed the Progressive Party here at the forum....it was President Theodore Roosevelt who formed it in real life in 1912. And of course we know that TR was a Republican.

It's not the same, silly Grin

A new GusNews poll of adults show that 44.55% of those of voting age are registered to vote. A breakdown of party affiliation shows that 50% of Democrats, 61.76% of Republicans and 18.75% of indepentents/3rd party supporters are registered to vote. The survey also showed that of those old enough to vote, 40% are Democrats, 30.91% Republicans and the rest, 29.09% indepents, etc.

Oooh, I'm an adult! Wink

Here's a report on the validity of apostle and his claims.  The majority of the post are on the fantasy elections board, and about 90% of those involve the JCP.

So far, here's all the data I've collected=

Posts out of F.E. board = 21 (43.75%)
Posts in the F.E. board = 27  (56.25%)

There will be more shortly (can you tell I like statistics?)!

Also, most of his posts seem to consist of one sentence... pratically monosyllabic grunts here at the Atlas forums.

55% are ex independents
44% are ex dems
as allways DUNNews bring you the corect numbers Wink

Lol...the independents are mostly people who were too far left to join the Dems in the first time... Wink
not true
I found the party and I am not that left.

No, not you, but Lewis and Siege are.
we (me too) on economics and green issues, but so is many of your democratic party friend. We got very similar resukts on some tests

I think they would both not have voted for almost any Democratic candidate in US elections...that means pretty far to the left I think. There is nothing wrong with that, i'm just pointing out that if one thinks the Dems are too far left I doubt whether one would consider the PP. But I'll admit to not knowing that many of your stands yet. (HINT, HINT...)
you are register at out site
you didn't visit lately

NO that's true, sorry. Don't have the time really. Sad
I geuss
you can check our stands

You have new ones then? Other than the Kyoto and no child lef tbehind stuff?

Yes.  We have... maybe... 6 or 7 new stands?
