What impact would you say the physical appearance of Governor Palin had on the election? Or, in simpler terms, did the McCain-Palin ticket get votes because the latter is arguably one of the world's most attractive female politicians?

I think some of you are over-estimating the boner factor here: I mean yes she's good looking, especially for a forty-something woman who's had five kids, but she's not a supermodel.
