Crazy you say? What's wrong with a Progressive movement? Could it be that you fear the Progressives will take Democratic votes? It seems to me that your implying that the Progressives used unfare methods to woo me into their camp, I can tell you that that's not true. I've been a Socialist for a long time.

Also if we were to start chants I'm sure we could come up with better than that one. It sounds like Zombie Turkeys to me. Not an appealing image.

It's the chant used in South Park.....as well as the 1931 movie Freaks.....but I doubt you're familiar with either one.

And if you came to the Forum sooner....and read my earlier posts....you would know that I have NOTHING against the Progressive movement...they are the number one third party at the forum....and that's fine with me. I don't view them as a threat at all. And in fact I thought of joining them at one time....which I still may do...you never know.

But I do enjoy teasing them quite a bit. Grin

I think Justin...or someone.....formed the Reform Party...but I think he's the only member....lol..

And I was thinking of forming the Democratic-Republican party....but I think I'd be lucky to get 2 to 3 members.

Yeah...and that's another thing.....and Dave never responded to my Dem Rep avatars...which I guess is a snub....so don't worry....no Democratic-Republican party will be formed..

Then maybe you're along the lines of Dennis Kucinich, who is still a democrat

We will welcome you with open arms.

Yeah....he never was.....but....although Dunn may have formed the Progressive Party here at the forum....it was President Theodore Roosevelt who formed it in real life in 1912. And of course we know that TR was a Republican.

Republicans back then stood for something different. They were more left then the Democrats for a period. It wasn't until the 1920s with the rise of extremism that the parties took on difinitive left-right characteristics. Or something like that.

I was never a rep (but I admire TR and LaFollettee who was a rep too). Hey, Lincoln was a rep. It was a Grand Ol' Party.

The reform party dissolve after about 12 hours and justin came back to the right wing part of the GOP.

The fact that the dems started to put their titles in their forum names really speaks for itself

New GusNews poll:

Democrats: 45%

Republicans: 43%

Progressives: 12%

The progressives are constantly gaining steam...and until further information is received I will keep Esteban a Dem for my polls! Wink

You mean my last registered persons, or what? JFK and Esteban are the 2 last registered Dems. They and Khgadial are the only ones to join after the election. And there's Demrepdan who switched back.
