Seats yet to be called:

NJ-03 (D?)  [Myers (R) up by 1741 votes, 93% in]

Worth noting here that Myers called Adler to concede around 10PM.  It's a one- or two-point race, but Adler has it locked up.  Part of the problem for Myers seems to be that Republicans just got a historical thumping in Burlington County tonight.

Meanwhile, Leonard Lance ran well ahead of McCain in a 9 point drubbing of Linda Stender.  Nice to see that competence trumps partisanship sometimes.

I'm very eager to dig into the numbers tomorrow and see what kind of trends I can find.

66% in:

US SENATOR
Begich, Mark DEM 81717 46.40%
Stevens, Ted REP 84830 48.17%

US REPRESENTATIVE
Berkowitz, Ethan A. DEM 77978 44.36%
Young, Don E. REP 89927 51.15%
What is wrong with this state.
No one whose party has reelected Murtha and B Jefferson can claim any sort of righteous indignation.
I would also ask what is wrong with Orleans Parish.
Orleans has voted Democrat in every election since the 1870s. ** That, and the fact that it's still over 60%+ black.

**There may have been an instance of Nixon carrying it in 1972, but I don't feel like checking.
Your point?

Mine was that corruption should not be rewarded in any circumstance.
I wanted to give a statement about Orleans Parish, but if you want a point I'll give you one:  Single-party states can elect whomever they please, criminal or otherwise, because single-party primaries can offer no real competition. How can it, if the one the party likes will get the funding (as in the case of Murtha)? I don't see how you can pass a judgement of anyone considering that your party or faction has profited electorally from that corruption just a few hours ago.

I agree with most of that.

But you had no reason to attack me for attacking the voters of Alaska.  I'll criticize any group of stupid people in any state regardless of party.  And I ain't no Democrat.

Truthfully, I'd be shocked if Stevens loses.

Franken up a bit in Minnesota, and Merkley down a bit in Oregon.

The felon is still leading in the worst state in the Union.

Nothing's going to be decided in Minnesota today. It's too close for that.

If you look at the places reporting, Smith is clearly toast.

Frankly, I think Franken will have a slight lead going into the recount.  Stevens will win and Chambliss will avoid runoff unless there's tons of black Atlanta ballots missing.

Wow. Democrats are on track to pick up 3 seats in Virginia and gain majority control of the delegation.

So far, Democrats have made 21 pickups on the night, and the Republicans have made 4.

There are still further D pickup opportunities, 6 realistic and 4 less so:

ID-01 (D?) [Minnick (D) up 51-49, 5441 votes, 78% in]
NJ-03 (D?)  [Myers (R) up by 1741 votes, 93% in]  [Adler conceded]
MD-01 (D?) [Kratovil (D) up 49-49, up 993 votes, 100% in]
VA-05 (D?) [Perriello (D) up 1157 votes, 100% in]
WA-08: (D?) [Burner (D) up 701 votes, 26% in]
CA-04: (D?) [McClintock (R) up 456 votes, 98% in]

CA-44: (D?) [Calvert (R) up 55-45, 49% in]
CA-50: (D?) [Bilbray (R) up 50-46, 55% in]
OH-15 (D?) [Stivers (R) up 48-43, 99% in]
AK-AL: (D?)  [Young (R) up 52-44, 96% in]

LA-04 is obviously another opportunity in December.

For Brown to win in CA-4 would be beyond awesome, though it would've been even better if it wasn't against a loser like McClintock.

We are headed toward an AIP takeover of the state, I think.

Anyway, this will provide me with some comedy, so that's good.

McClintock leads by 456 votes now. I think he'll probably win at this point.

Twin Cities suburbia is now all in. Hennepin itself is 99% in. But Franken has two Northern counties he can rely on: Itasca (91% in) and St. Louis (83% in). This one will be a nailbiter, but I thinnk Franken holds the advantage.

None of this matters, of corse. The recount is the important part.
