That's the reaction I had to this New Hampshire poll:
http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=7d873f82-2844-46e6-9a04-6b9d983941c9&c=24

Huge gender gap. Whatever, who cares. 57% sounds a bit high but I have no idea why Rasmussen did this poll anyway.

Par for the course in New Jersey. In 2004, Kerry won women by 13 while Bush won men by 1. In 2000, Gore won women by 28 points but won men by only 5. The gender gap tends to grow when Democrats do better. Gender gaps are also most severe in states with high Catholic populations.

Hey RowanBrandon, you hack, looks like my prediction will be closer than yours.

Obama will also win close to 50% of the vote in Ocean County. I predict 47%. I remember fezzy telling me I was a moron for predicting that.

You were saying Obama +8 at most.

You even thought McCain had a chance to get within low single digits.

Ehhh.... I'm feeling this

Barack Obama 57
John McCain 42

I'd had this at Obama by 11-12 forever but I don't think NJ Republicans/Independents are as enthused with John McCain as I expected.  (And my God they SHOULD'VE BEEN!  McCain is a wonderful Republican for the GOP to run in New Jersey and not once did Obama even have to THINK about making a stop here..... they really have run an awful campaign)

In other groundbreaking news, the sky is blue.

Did Rasmussen really have to poll here instead of, say, Nevada?
