Let's say that Eisenhower picks Earl Warren as his VP instead of Nixon in 1952. Nixon stays a successful Senator of his home state, While Warren becomes VP. I don't expect an enormous change of the 1952 and 1956 elections, but I expect 1960 to change. Since Richard Nixon is still a  Senator, he is not a candidate for The Presidency. Warren beats Goldwater in the primaries and faces Democrat John F. Kennedy in the election. Can Warren beat Kennedy or will Kennedy still pull of a victory? Since both candidates are Liberals, will The Southern United States run a third party candidate? If so, could they do any better than Byrd of OTL? Please Discuss.

Warren/Ambigous but lean Warren.

In this scenario, Kennedy tries really hard to pander to Southerners.

Hmm... Well, the country was in a down mood which always favors the party on the outs... So I dunno... I suspect Warren might pull it out, but I really don't know.

Let's say that Warren barely pulls out a win due to Kennedy's failure to gain The Southerner's trust. (Warren doesn't win the South, but Harry Byrd does better). Warren also wins more swing states (As in New Jersey, Missouri, and Illinois.)

What happens in regards to civil rights?  Is Brown still decided unanimously, and how do things like that play out?

I believe that Civil Rights is hindered without Warren in The Court, so I believe Brown would fail.

Also, here is my prediction of the election:

Warren would lose (though barely), no one would vote for a 69 year old man in 1960. Especially with Eisenhower having two heartattacks, and in the general election of 1956, Stevenson only attacked Ike on his age. That was the main attack point. So Warren would lose. We can look back at the election of 1952- vice president Alben Barkley was an announced candidate for only TWO WEEKS because they press kept criticizing his age. Yep, that was the only reason he dropped out.
Here's Earl Warren in 1961 for you. Some of your could pretend it's president Warren:
