http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/

I voted for Missouri, as nearly everyone else did. The 12% who voted for South Carolina though - what?

Interesting idea though, I wonder why they decided to let their readers decide where to poll next. Has it been done before?

Well, if Obama is ahead by 6 in North Carolina, you'd think he wouldn't be too far behind in South Carolina.

Think Obama has a shot in those two places? Maybe the Clintons could come in handy...

Georgia, a bit underpolled as well, is more interesting than SC.

District of Columbia, so they might not give a left-leaning result for once.

Well, if Obama is ahead by 6 in North Carolina, you'd think he wouldn't be too far behind in South Carolina.

If the McCain campaign does continue to implode because of the economy, an Obama victory would not be impossible.  There are no other races worthy of attention here, so a combination of Republican apathy, economic agitation, and African-American excitement might be able to put South Carolina in the win column for Obama.  I wouldn't believe it until I saw it, but with the mix of turnout, it would be possible.  (Bad weather that only affects turnout in the upstate would also probably be needed for an Obama victory.)

That said Missouri and Nevada need polling far more than South Carolina right now.  We've had enough polls to make it reasonably certain that at present this State is safely McCain.

What I would truly like to see is a 2nd District poll for South Carolina.  Those same factors I already mentioned mean that it might be remotely possible for Rob Miller to pull off an upset, if he could get enough funding to matter.

I want to see Missouri, definitely. Also Arkansas, West Virginia, South Carolina, Montana, North Dakota and Georgia.

Texas was closer early in the campaign. I'm curious to see how that state is shaking out.

The next logical tier assuming MO,NC, VA, OH, etc have swing to Obama would be AR, WV, IN, AZ.

Such a good idea on PPP's part.  "THE VOICE, THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!" - The Kid from Brooklyn.

Missouri has been soooo underpolled, especially considering that it went for Bush by a mere 2.5 points in 2000 (less than MI D+5.1, PA D+4.2, VA R+8, OH R+3.5, and NV R+3.5).

I voted for NV, before the Reno-Gazette poll came out ...

Now I´m more in favor of South Carolina.
