In response to the tragedies of 9/21 in which government infrastructure was rattled and destroyed, I request a motion to suspend all voting and debating on the Senate floor until the forum has been fully rebuilt.

Just one person's opinion here...but I don't think the current Forum difficulties are insurmountable--in fact there's a little less clutter in these parts for a while---and before you know it the stickied threads will get restickied.

October is sneaking up on us fast...and I tell ya it is so nice to have a Senate that shows up to work and gets it knocked out.

There's a ton of serious work the administration has in front of it, and need not pass on to the future occupant.  I humbly ask this august body to reconsider and keep its sleeves rolled up.

I think we should vote and debate on any issues that may come up about the disaster itself.

Personally, I believe we should pass a measure that states that if threads have not been moved to their proper place by thier creator within 15 days, Dave shall move them to the place he thinks they should go. Many threads that are important to Fantasy Elections History have been made by people who aren't active and aren't able to go back and move them, since they have left the forum, such as Beet, Christopher Michael, and NixonNow.( He was chairman of the AFRNC and there was a time he was a serious, important player on the national stage)

The senate has no power over what Dave does, or does not do.

Obviously, we don't have the power to force him to do anything. In the past however, we have politely asked that certain things be done to increase the effectiveness of the forums, and Dave has always done his best.

It's unfortunate that we lost those things, but we still have all we need to conduct the current business of the Senate.
