To be fair, Obama is doing well in the states bordering his state. McCain just sucks.

Depends on how neighborly the neighboring states are.

Except for some of the indian reservations, Arizona and New Mexico share nothing.  The northern part of the state mainly affiliates itself with Colorado while the southern part is all white farmers with Texas accents.
