wow, if that was taken on sunday (after the financial panic had subsided a bit), then that state is wrapped up and out of play.

Finally we can put some of this "OMG MINNESOTA IS LOLZ PALIN COUNTRY!!18" to rest.  Even the narrowest of polls showed that Palin was a wash here.

It was taken last Thursday, pretty much during the middle of it, fish.  Smiley

Take this poll(along with NC) with a grain of salt:

"This Minnesota survey was conducted on Thursday night, September 18, in the midst of the Wall Street roller-coaster week. Several state polls conducted that evening showed very positive results for Barack Obama and it was one of his best recent nights in the daily Presidential Tracking Poll."

This is why one day polls aren't that good.

They should be fine so long as you're not in a period of instability, as things were last week, or during the two conventions, for example.

Oh, and this is the absolute ceiling for Obama. The only reason the poll shows him up 8 is because RAS seemed to find a bunch of Obama voters that night in every state.

This certainly serves to get rid of the slight concern I had growing about the state lately.
