I think Iran is 100% likely to have an American airbase in its neighbourhood by 2012. The neocons cant have a democrat in charge and the army needs to shoot some more people and expand the Imperial American Empire.

It will be interesting to see how Americas empire of Europe continues to grow. Kosovo recently got indepedence despite Serbias refusal may get an invite. Interesting how South Ossetia and Abhazia want independence like Kosovo but how dare they as they dont support the imperialists.

Well, I mean.. there are some great natural resources... but if we were to invade just that portion, nobody would know about it for quite some time... probably until some unsuspecting family in a minivan with a luggage topper on top drives by at 35km/h and says "ooh... look ooover there, eh.  The states has taken oooover, eh."
