And what was Sarah Palin doing in early January of 2008, when the GOP presidential hopefuls were giving American voters a chance to see them all in one place, to judge them side by side in the media lights of the night if not the pure light of day?
She was making TransCanada her choice for a state-licensed natural gas pipeline project that will likely end up being subsidized by – you guessed it – hundreds of millions of dollars in federal earmarks."
