I own guns because they make excellent investments and help tell party the story of our country.  Other people own guns because they like to hunt.  Others, because they enjoy target shooting.  (I would love to do that, myself again...been too long.)  Still others own guns because they need them for protection from bitter ex husbands or lovers, stalkers or even -- in some parts of the country -- wild animals.

I know and acknowledge that there are assh*le gun owners.  There are PLENTY of people who don't own guns...and never would...who are just as twisted.
