Help me locate these miscreants

What follows is  a precis of an article from The Times.  Would appreciate help in locating the miscreats who own the hotel.  They deserve a thorough castigation!

A hotel that refused an injured soldier a room, forcing him to spend the night in his car, was backed into issuing a grovelling apology yesterday after receiving a barrage of abusive phone calls.

The Metro Hotel, in Woking, Surrey, called the police as its phone lines were flooded with angry and threatening calls from the public.

The attack on the switchboards came after it emerged that Corporal Tomos Stringer, 24, had been told that it was company policy not to accept members of the Armed Forces.

A soldier since the age of 16 and veteran of multiple tours in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan, Corporal Stringer had travelled to Surrey to help with funeral preparations for a friend killed in action.

"company policy not to accept members of the Armed Forces"?  Wow!  If true that's pretty farking atrocious.  They should have every right to do that if they want, but I wouldn't expect them to stay in business long.

I think it's more to do with company employees being forced to follow every rule in the book without any flexibility. We've all had run ins with rude and inflexible customer service.

This was really poor on the part of the hotel and has had a fair bit of coverage in various news outlets here. I assume they only realised he was a member of the armed services as he was wearing uniform (attending a funeral and all) rather than asking him for his profession. I can maybe see their reasoning but it is still pretty poor in my opinion.

Why is this in the US general discussion board though?

The full article alleged the hotel was owned by an American firm, called "American Amusement."  I have been unable to locate them.

Oh, and btw, if you check the rather extensive comments to The Times Online you will see that about half of them are from Americans who are positively irate!

     That's horrible. If they don't want to accept soldiers, perhaps the owners should be sent to Iraq. See if they change their tune.
