Final Tally

Franklin D. Roosevelt (New York): 39
Harry S. Truman (Missouri): 18
William J. Clinton (Arkansas): 18
John F. Kennedy (Massachusetts): 13.5
Woodrow Wilson (New Jersey): 5
Lyndon B. Johnson (Texas): 4
James E. Carter (Georgia): .5

Harry S. Truman recieved more first-place votes than William J. Clinton, placing him second, and ensuring the VP slot. Al's third preference was Carter or Kennedy, so in the spirit of fair voting, I gave half a point to each of them. Beaver only placed Harry Truman on his ballot, but since not ranking the other candidates would hurt them, Truman only recived third-place points for that vote.

At the Democratic Convention in Chicago, IL, the ticket shaped out as:

President: President Franklin D. Roosevelt (D-NY)
Vice President: President Harry S. Truman (D-MO)

and I hate that those Republicans get to choose TR...he was so great, I just may have to vote for him if they nominate him.

The actual ticket of 1944!

Hopefully we'll get the same result as 1944.

Shouldn't the person running the election at least attempt to be fair and impartial?  Wink

Now that the voting is over and it won't clutter up the voting I'll add mine.

1- Truman.

2- Kennedy
3- Clinton

THe large gap is to represent the huge difference in terms of quality.

I oppose Civil Rights? Links? Cites? How about I oppose LBJ because he is guilty of conspiracy to murder a sitting president. LBJ was one of the biggest racists in the Democrat party...well..he was just part of the club as thats the story of the Democratic party throughout history, racism and oppression of non-whites.
