Even North Korea allows private gardens! The mayor needs to be thrown into the Bay with concrete shoes.

I don't condone the closure, but it's the stand being closed, not the garden.

Actually, the words of the Mayor of Clayton are quite illuminating:

First, he fears the stand my be successful and grown.  Now the Mayor of Clayton is adamantly opposed to successful entrepreneurship!

Second, when the father of the girls repeated called the Mayor, the Mayor refused to talk to him, because rulers of petty tyrannies don't have to talk to the peons they tyrannize.

As for Clayton, I guess they prefer less disruptive business activities like that huge quarry on the side of Mount Diablo.

This just reinforces my belief that Clayton sucks and nothing good comes out of there.

Goodness, if he's doing this to a pair of little girls, what are they going to do to the High School Cheerleading team that holds a car wash to raise funds for the year?  Charge them with solicitation?

Good Grief, talk about too much time on your hands.

Bedroom community east of Concord. It's actually pretty wealthy but I still stand by my statement that nothing good comes out of there.
