I'm glad to see that someone actually noticed my plan (which I don't necessarily support).

Hey I am from the Pacific. Let's not get personal. Tongue

Thanks for helping me work with through this Lewis. I appreciate it. Run for a Class B seat, and you will have my first preference.  Best. Smiley
I can't. Who'd take my Class A seat? Tongue

What regions are comatose at the moment?
Depends how you define comatose I suppose, but when you discount people not interested, people holding other positions, and people whom a clear majority of the region wouldn't want to represent them, the candidate pool is pretty damn shallow in the Mideast, Midwest, and Pacific.

I don't think the Mideast should be on that list.

The required two days for voting have expired. With two in favour with two opposed the motion to table fails.

There hasn't been any debate in an eternity, so this should go to a final vote. However, as more than 14 days have passed since debate opened, it seems that it now requires a two-thirds cloture vote.

I think I'll introduce an OSPR amendment soon to change that rule... which many PPTs used to ignore anyhow...

But...for now...

The vote is on cloture.
Please vote aye, nay, or abstain.

Aye.

Aye 6
Nay 0
Abstain (did not vote) 3
Absent 1 (Torie)

As the vote is unanimous, there's no 24 hour waiting period.
The motion for cloture has passed.

The vote is on the bill itself.

Please vote aye, nay or abstain.

Nay, although a moot point as long as the other atrocious legislation fails to pass.
