Obama - 53%
McCain - 39%

Obama’s ratings in Maine are 61% favorable, 36% unfavorable. McCain is viewed favorably by 53% and unfavorably by 44%.

This telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports August 12, 2008. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

So I guess we get Senate polls this afternoon here and in NC.

Btw, D+2.50 to my 50-50 numbers here in Maine.  Everything fits too nicely right now.

It went 9 points for Bush.  Why do you think such a swing is likely?
