here. Sorry if there is another thread somewhere but I couldn't see one.
Now, I was watching Newsnight (British news show) earlier and they interviewed the defence lawyer in this case. He said that a spokesperson - for the government or military, I cannot remember which - had stated prior to the trial that even if he had been found not guilty, they would continue to detain him at Guantanamo Bay because they had nowhere to send him. I don't suppose anyone could corroborate this? If it is true then it is absolutely outrageous in my opinion.
