both are very ineffective.

I don't mind Pelosi too much....but Reid is someone I'd like to punch in the face.

Ineffective is a rather weak adjective to describe the performances of both those blanks.

I'd like to punch both in the face.

If anyone read Parade yesterday they had a little snippet about how little our congress had done.

We have no leadership whatsoever. All we have right now are leeches on both sides of the aisle padding their pockets and riding it for what it's worth.

The bolded part made me laugh. In an ideal universe, the public would refuse to send more Democrats to Congress until they grew a spine. Unfortunately, the public isn't smart enough to know or care about their gross ineptitude.

They're disturbingly effective at being ineffective.

Horrible, but much, much better than the Republicans by virtue of not being Republicans. And that's why the Democrats will gain more seats in Congress this year.

The Dems eager to cut their gain to low single digits. The shut down of Congress over avoiding a vote on drilling should cost them some seats that they would otherwise take.

How exactly? If Party B replaces Party A promising to fix the massive problems Party A has caused and fail miserably, how is Party B any better?

Anyway, they seem to be extremely ineffective at accomplishing anything, but it's not as if anyone should really be surprised by that. It's amazing how short peoples' attention spans are.

Both of them are about as effective as trying to get some sleep at a Metallica concert.
