Here's round eightteen for your viewing pleasure:

Taft -- 9 votes
FDR -- 7 votes
J. Adams -- 1 vote
Garfield -- 1 vote
Hayes -- 1 vote
McKinley -- 1 vote
Nixon -- 1 vote
T. Roosevelt -- 1 vote

Taft loses, getting 9/22 votes. The dump FDR movement gains a lot of steam here, getting 7 votes in favor of booting the guy, making five consecutive rounds with multiple votes against him.

     Round nineteen is finished:

Taylor -- 10 votes
FDR -- 8 votes
GHW Bush -- 1 vote
Lincoln -- 1 vote
McKinley -- 1 vote

Taylor is booted off with 10/21 votes. Best showing yet for the dump FDR movement.

     Round twenty is done:

FDR -- 9 votes
McKinley -- 5 votes
GHW Bush -- 4 votes
J. Adams -- 1 vote
Hayes -- 1 vote

FDR is booted, with 9/20 votes. The Pro-FDR movement's attempt to take out the elder Bush caused a rift that left FDR vulnerable.

Finally.  Actually, 20 is probably about right.  Maybe 15-20 would have been better, but 20 isn't horrible considering how much the left had been gaming the game the last handful of votes and how many more of them there are than everybody else.

Getting rid of LBJ also took an eternity. However, the left finally went a bridge too far in attacking George H.W. Bush.

As we reach the halfway point, round twenty-one comes to a close:

Nixon -- 11 votes
Lincoln -- 4 votes
Garfield -- 1 vote
Grant -- 1 vote
Van Buren -- 1 vote

Nixon goes down with 11/18 votes. With huge negatives & equally big positives, Nixon losing at this point is perfectly emblematic of the halfway point of the game.

I wonder how many of the voters have already decided who they want to win.  I know I have Smiley

Since FDR is gone, I really don't care that much who wins.  There are still a handful letf that shouldn't win, but they won't so I'm not worried.  It will most likely be Washington or TR (outside shot of Truman) and any of those would be ok (Truman wouldn't deserve it).

I have four or five people who I really would like to see win. Washington is one of them, but at the same time I kind of hope he doesn't because he's kind of obvious.

The results of round twenty-two are in:

Grant -- 10 votes
Van Buren -- 8 votes
Jefferson -- 1 vote
Lincoln -- 1 vote
McKinley -- 1 vote
Washington -- 1 vote

In one of the closer rounds in a while, Grant is kicked off, getting 10/22 votes.

     Round twenty-three has come home:

McKinley -- 8 votes
Van Buren -- 8 votes
Garfield -- 2 votes
Lincoln -- 2 votes
Ford -- 1 vote
Jefferson -- 1 vote

Van Buren & McKinley tie, each getting 8/22 votes. Guess it's another tiebreaker.

Ford -- 2 votes
Adams -- 1 vote
GHW Bush -- 1 vote
Hayes -- 1 vote
Jefferson -- 1 vote
Lincoln -- 1 vote

     Round twenty-five results are here:

McKinley -- 8 votes
Ford -- 7 votes
Polk -- 5 votes
JQ Adams -- 1 vote
Lincoln --  1 vote

McKinley gets 8/22 votes. Would've gone to a tiebreaker, except Conor Flynn cast the decisive vote with under eight minutes remaining.

Round twenty-eight results have been finalized:

Polk -- 6 votes
CA Arthur -- 5 votes
JQ Adams -- 3 votes
Madison -- 3 votes
J. Adams -- 2 votes
Lincoln -- 2 votes
GHW Bush -- 1 vote
JFK -- 1 vote

Polk is kicked off the island, with 6/23 votes. One of the weaker decisions in a long time. The vote that put Polk into the lead came at 11:58:45 PM, the latest that a deciding vote has come in yet.

Madison -- 3 votes
Lincoln -- 2 votes
CA Arthur -- 1 vote

George HW Bush is the newest guy on the boat, having gotten 11/22 votes. The last eight presidents have now been kicked off the island.

Round thirty-one results come marching in:

CA Arthur -- 9 votes
Madison -- 5 votes
Lincoln -- 2 votes
Eisenhower -- 1 vote

Arthur loses this round with 9/17 votes. I think this is the first vote Eisenhower has ever gotten by the way.
