Now, the only question is if McCain will break 60.  I think he will get into really high 50s, but not quite 60.

Why are they still polling Alabama?  The only Southern states worth polling are Virginia and Florida.

Why are they still polling Alabama?  The only Southern states worth polling are Virginia and Florida.
Well, at least the case can be made for polling NC (because of the gov race) and MS (for the senate race), but nothing is competitive in Alabama.

The southern states are slow to change.  1976 even 11 years after the civil rights act was enacted Alabama still voted for Carter and almost in 1980 too!

Blacks in AL should all switch to the GOP.

That would involve not being drug around by the nose by their leaders.
