This may be a depressing election but it is the first one I watched and I was excited that night. Any vids?

Here is a good one.

From there you can go to parts 2-4.

And you can see other clips from that great night!

I remember I showed this site to the woman who ran the daycare-thing I went to after school, and we all looked at the returns coming in (until 6, when it closed).

I'm actually about to watch some of the videos I recorded from election night. I would upload them but they are all on VHS.

Yes. I also have the first night of the RNC, the VP debate, the Town Hall Debate, and then a random debate from the Democratic primary, pre-New Hampshire.

Lucky, not that I really want to relive a bad night but it would be fun. I remember analyzing 2006's results and being super happy all night. That was an awesome night, I remember going to bed super happy.

Not "daycare" per se. I was in, what, 5th grade?

Yeah, I was in 5th grade in 1999-2000, 6th grade for the 2000 Election.

Yeah, I was in 5th grade in 1999-2000, 6th grade for the 2000 Election.

So then I assume your memories of that election correspond roughly to mine of the last election.

First election I remember was 1996 and I followed that. I became very interested in history and current events...and by 1998 I followed news daily. The 2000 election I was very heavily involved in tracking...I even went with my mother to the polls and she let me push down the ballot for Bush. By 2004, that's almost like yesterday in my mind...I followed it as closely as this one and I went to rallies for Bush/Cheney.
