How would the 2004 Presidential Election turn out if these were the tickets?

Republican:

President George W. Bush of Texas
Vice President Dick Cheney of Wyoming

Democratic

Congressman Dick Gephardt of Missouri
Governor Mike Easley of North Carolina

Discuss with maps.

strong democratic ticket, I am not sure if I want to know how a map would look.

HACK!

Gephardt: 300 EV
Bush: 238 EV

And VA, CO, NV, and FL could also switch.

Great VP, btw Smiley

Uh...NO!

Anyhow, Gephardt picks up Missouri and Iowa. As for Ohio, it's still a tossup state which Bush wins in the end. Bush also gains New Hampshire, which only went for Kerry based off of former MA voters in the Grantie State.

In the end, Bush is reelected. I'm not convinced that anyone could defeat Bush in 2004. Voters were not going to "swap horses in mid stream" especially during the Iraq War.

Bush: 272
Gephardt: 266

Bush wins the popular vote by a million votes.
