No, Congress's low approval rating is due to the simple fact that both parties are led by total asshats. Harry Reid is one of them.

Actually, it's due to the fact that neither party give three sh!ts about the Constitution, US taxpayer, or our Republic. They are only in office to make a career out of politics, pad their wallets and distract us w/global warming while they rob us blind and saddle us with trillions of dollars of debt that we should have no obligation to be liable for (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac).

Actually Reid is right. When the Democratic wing of the Republican party fails to stand up to the wildly unpopular Republican wing of the Republican party, it hurts their approval ratings. However, Reid is completely wrong about his claim that the Democratic wing had no choice in the matter.

I can't wait until they blame Bush for Obama's ineffectiveness as a President in the 2012 election if Obama wins this time.

"The reason we didn't get out of Iraq/passed Universal Healthcare/fixed the energy crisis/economy was because of the recklessness of the past administration!"

Yeah, their approval ratings are in the toilet cause of the President, and not because they've sold their office to big business and have gone out of their way not to accomplish any of their goals they set 2 years ago.

And States is completely right. Congress doesn't give a sh**t about anyone but themselves and their bank accounts. They wish to manipulate the Constitution to suit their needs, and the military, to them, is just a tool to further their own interests. For instance, since December 2002, the worldwide price of oil has quadrupled. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why the Iraq War was justified using lies and fabricated evidence.
