Yeah, supporting the death penalty for child rapists, easing off of gun control, and triangulating on third trimester abortion makes you a Bush clone. LOL. This has the significance of Bush's photo ops with school kids in 2000. We all know what the differences are, even if Obama makes headfakes on issues with 65% public support and no practical application.

This is perhaps the most bizarre attack strategy I've ever seen from the right wing, possibly from any wing. I'm not touching it beyond that.

Perhaps because it doesn't read like much of an attack.  [edit] Or if the intent of the article is to attack, it won't work. 

It's trying to demoralize Democrats. I'm not losing any sleep over it.
