I'm going out on a limb, and if Lizzy doesn't get the Presidential nod, she'll definitely get the VP.  She has a solid background, and has more than proven her competence.  My only concern is will Bob live for 8 more years?  His death could be a major distraction to her service.

Out of these people, Guiliani is the only one that has a serious chance IMO. Mrs. Dole isn't qualified, and she couldn't win the GOP primary.

I think Arnold will be president one day, if the Constitution is amended. He could put California in play (and if California was in play, the election wouldn't be).

It's Liddy, not Lizzy.

If Bush wins I definitely see the GOP going w/ Jeb Bush as a "3rd term".  If he loses I think then you see a Giuliani or McCain step up.  Frankly I think Rudy is more interested in something like "Director of Homeland Security" than he is in the Presidency.

2 side notes.

1) I don't see Bob Dole dying in the next 4 years or even the next 12.  That guy has so much vinegar in him he'll live to be well over 100.

2) I don't think Arnold will ever be President.  Not only because I don't see the amendment to the Constitution happening, but because Arnold's social views wouldn't play well in the South.

Arnold isn't against all restrictions on abortions, and he's against gay marriage.

Those are both areas that federal government has absolutely no Constitutional jurisdiction over. So it shouldn't matter.

I have a feeling...just a feeling...probably worthless.

If the constitution is amended to let Arnold run and he wins, he could very well be the Anti-Christ.

Anyone else who studies Revelation could agree with me.

Just a thought. (I'm still mod. Repub!)

I can recall certain Republicans saying that celebrities should not stick their nose into politics. Hmm... What's Arnold again, oh yeah, he's an actor! So was Reagan (Although Reagan really belonged in politics, he was not very good at acting.). I don't think I'd ever vote for Arnold. I only liked Predator and Running Man. LOL.

I just find it interesting that some Republicans are so rabid for a win that they are ready to promote Arnold to the Presidency after he's only been Gov of CA for a very short time.

I don't believe in experience.

Anyone who studies revelation thinks the world ended last week.

The difference being that Arnold has acctually put his money where his mouth is.  I respect Bono and a handful of other Liberal celebrity activists as well, because they aren't like these Liberals who just go to cocktail parties, here what everyone else is saying and then head to the next Bash Bush rally.

And, at this point, I am personally pro-Pataki, but that could change.

Liddy will be too old, and, I know that Giuliani is campaigning for it as we speak, but I just get the feeling he won't be in it.  I would support him though.

Right now, my top 2008 picks are:

Rudy Giuliani

George Pataki

Tom Ridge

Chuck Hagel

Frist has the charisma of a dead-dog and he is a Senator without any acchomplishments to distiguish him from the pack, so I think he will be DOA.

McCain.  If Bush wins in a close race and McCain continues to campaign hard in the swing states then McCain is the favorate (though age maybe a question)
