Metro stations per arrondisement / gemeenten

I - 3 (1 planned)
II - 6
III - 2
IV - 2 (1 planned)
V - 1
VI - 0 (2 planned)
VII - 0 (3 planned)
VIII - 1
IX - 4
X - 2
XI - 2
XII - 4
XIII - 1
XIV - 0
XV - 0 (1 planned)
XVI - 0 (2 planned)
XVII - 2
XVIII - 0 (1 planned)
XIX - 2 (1 planned)

These babies need names. If you have 1 sation name it after your arrondisement. If your stuck just call it Andriesplaats or Beurs (stock exchange) etc

City station (railroad station)
Mary's market
Cathedral heights
Bronze square (the hub)
South end (green line)
Williamsville (orange line)

Need Dutch translations; obviously a lot of these will sound more sensible in the original language. I assume a lot of those will be agglutinated into single words.

Station Stad (Station Spoorweg)
Marienmarkt
Kathedralhoogten
Brons Plein (De Hub)
Zuideinde
Willemsdorp

I don't speak Dutch, of course, so this should be taken with a grain of salt. Afleitch can correct them, I hope.

District IV name: Koningstad, maybe. It means "King Town". What were you thinking, Xahar?

I guess for the metro stations the central one could be Universiteitplein, "University Square." I'll think of the other two later.

I'm using the google dutch translator btw, so I don't know if I'm getting the names right.

It can also mean King's Town, which would make sense if it's an old university.

Yeah, that's what I was going for, actually, but I have no idea how Dutch does possessives and online translators kind of suck.

That would be helpful Smiley Hopefully this game has some life in it!

Stragely enough, I now have Brussels in my head. It's a city I love and visit about three or 4 times a year and it has a great dynamism to it.

So, can I call arrondissement number one Deux-Rives/Centre? Could somebody translate that into Dutch [google doesn't take it, two is twee and centre is centrum??]. And the name in Dutch will probably be the name to be used, to be like all others.

Edit- I won't be using Riddersveld for sure, btw

And for the first 5 to name theirs, just something I knocked up.

And yes there's a spelling mistake Sad

I - Shows the older architecture of main square
II- Shows the meeting of northern european style with Paris style boulevards that make up much of the area
III - Shows part of the university complex and surrounding homes
V- Shows the main shopping street in this working class part of the city. Notice the eclectic style showing some art deco and art noveau inspired buildings.
XIII - Suburbia, showing the buildings of the old town built when it was outwith the city.
