Hillary Clinton 2016-2024
John Kasich 2024-2032
Joe Kennedy III 2032-2040

Something like this, probably.

We've already broken the record for most two-termers in a row.  Three more would be truly extraordinary.
Correction: We've tied the record. Clinton/Bush/Obama is tied with Jefferson/Madison/Monroe.

Barring assassinations, deaths in office, etc, I think it's got to look something like this:

45. Hillary Rodham Clinton, 2017 - 2025
46. Marco A. Rubio, 2025 - 2033
47. Some Democrat, 2033 - 2037?

Who knows? Maybe our political system has evolved to the point where two-term presidents are the norm.

Can you explain why incumbency advantages would be growing with time?

I have no idea, honestly. I'm just saying that it's a possibility.

1.) Sanders/Chafee (2017-2027; 22nd amendment repealed in 2024, and Sanders dies in office.

2.) Lincoln Chafee (2027-2033) continues Sanders' progressive agenda for a term-and-a-half, retiring gracefully at age 79 and passing the mantle of the Democratic Party onto a new generation of progressives, who were just kids when George W. Bush was in office. The GOP disbanded in 2021, and its base split to populate the ranks of the Libertarian Party (Rand Paul and the libertarians) and Constitution Party (Ted Cruz and the social conservatives).

3*Unnamed fresh progressive Democratic face (2033-?)

These threads are absolutely inane and retarded. Ask this in 1992. How many would say the Governor of Arkansas, the current President's son, and either a Chicago community organizer or Senator just involved in the Keating Five? There's a ton of other similar scenarios.

Of course the sheer stupidity of them and the idea that in the 2020s we'll still be dealing with the same people we have today is probably why they appeal so much to people like Naso, DWTL and constine.

1. Gov. Bill Clinton(D-AR)
2. Gov. George W. Bush(R-TX)
3. Sen. Hillary Clinton(D-AR)

They might miss a state, but it's not that far-fetched.

For example, 2008:
2009-2017: Sen. Barack Obama(D-IL)
2017-2021: Fmr. Gov. Jeb Bush(R-FL)
2021-2025: Gov. Martin O'Malley(D-MD)

Right now, for instance:
2017-2021: Sen. Marco Rubio(R-FL)
2021-2029: Gov. Gavin Newsom(D-CA)
2029-2037: Sen. Elise Stefanik(R-NY)

Gov. Scott Walker/Gov. Susana Martinez (2017-2025)
VP Susana Martinez/Gov. Marco Rubio (2025-2029)
Gov. Andrew Cuomo/A young (Socialist) Dem Senator (2029-2037)
Gov. George P. Bush/Sen. Tom Cotton (2037-2045)
Sen. Matt Walker/ Some random GOPer we don't know yet (2045-2053)

Elections:
2016: Scott Walker over Hillary Clinton
2020: Scott Walker over Elizabeth Warren
2024: Susana Martinez over Alan Grayson
2028: Andrew Cuomo over Marco Rubio (Pres. Martinez decides not to run)
2032: Andrew Cuomo over Rand Paul
All subsequent losers are as of yet unknown (and remember that I have a ton of names of young Republicans who could rise, but almost no Democrats).

It's time to go back and laugh at myself:

2017-2025: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)/Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC)
2025-2029: Sen. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY)/Rep. Julian Castro (D-TX)
2029-2033: VP Julian Castro (D-TX)/Someone yet unknown in her early 40s (D-WA)

2033-: Speaker Elise Stefanik (R-NY)/Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC)

Losing candidates:
2016- Hillary Clinton
2020- Andrew Cuomo
2024- Nikki Haley
2028- Scott Walker (Pres. Cuomo did not seek re-election)
2032- Julian Castro (incumbent defeated for first time in 40 years)
