Well, it's the only contest I'll let myself be optimistic on, so Ose's negative ads will surely carry the day.  And then Charlie Brown will win in November.  And then California will fall into the ocean. Smiley

I suspect the carpetbagging whacko McClintock will easily defeat the responsible and sane Ose and Charlie Brown will win in November.

Whee... 79% for Andrews in Gloucester so far. His highest county otherwise is Ocean, with 31%. Lautenberg is destroying Andrews in Hudson County by about the same amount as Andrews is in Gloucester. Local news just reported that absentee ballots in Bergen County were strongly for Lautenberg.

Gloucester is disproportionately in. Really bad for Andrews; he currently trails in Cumberland with about a third in.

Camp Andrews is optimistic, saying turnout should be just below 200,000 when they originally believed it would be around 300,000.

If he can't win in Cumberland County, he'll be lucky to break 30%. And it's half in now with Lautenberg still having a narrow lead (48-47).

Andrews only winning Cape May by eight points with almost half the precincts in? Seems too weak...

The numbers in on the GOP side are absolutely pathetic and abysmal.

I'm gonna call for Lautenberg, Kelly, and Lance.

There are 0 precincts in for Burlco.  How the hell can you call a race for Kelly when Meyers is going to slaughter him in Burlco?

Update: The numbers for Meyers look darn good in Ocean—he's only back by about 25.  I think Meyers has the edge based on the Ocean numbers.

Ugh, this race has to be over. Cape May is 71% in and Andrews is only up six...and he's now losing Cumberland.

Sabrin is in second in two counties: ahead of Zimmer in Gloucester and Pennacchio in Ocean. LOL

Results are coming in from New Mexico, just a handful of votes from two precincts though. Pearce leads Wilson.

If Lautenberg is reelected in 2012 and if Rush Holt inexplicably runs and wins a  primary against Bob Menendez in 2014, New Jersey's Senate delegation will consist of a near-centarian and a man whose father was too young to serve the first two years of his Senate term. What a weird state...

Good to see that New Jersey Democrats will reject Andrews.

That'll probably be the theme of the night.  70%+ wins for each GOP candidate with the line.

AP numbers show Pearce winning by five...votes. I don't think it matters which county.  Wink

Which means we might have a long wait if Bergen is the last county in. Pennacchio trails significantly right now but had the line here, and Bergen will probably have the most votes in both primaries (Essex might have more in the Democratic primary).

And apparently one person wanted to vote for Senator but not for President.

Any guesses about Ed Fallon's percentage against "Bush Dog" (what an absurd term)and netroots target Leonard Boswell? I'll put the angry liberal activist vote at ~40%, similar to the percentage Jane Harman's challenger won in 2006.

Still 100 minutes until the important votes close. It'll bee a long night, so I may make a county-by-county map of CA-4.

Thanks.  Quay is a rural Republican county up North.
