Returns in Montana starting to come in - Obama +4 in Billings so far

Romney appears to be carrying Montana. That is quite an upset isn't it?  Smiley

Montana Republican's vote February 5th.

It did? Who knew! Where was I?

For what it's worth, Hillary Clinton is still maintaining a consistent 12-point lead with nearly 50% of precincts reporting in South Dakota:

Hillary Clinton: 56%
Barack Obama: 44%

Ignore the blanked-out states. This map says they do not exist.

He is turning up the heat a bit on McCain, aka as he would have it, the "changeless" candidate, who won't give him any respect. He's trimming on Iraq, which is good. No more of this get out ASAP eo instante stuff. Middle class tax break to boot. Time to move more assets into municipal bonds I guess, so I can become middle class too. Of course, with the lifting of the FICA tax, I am not going to actually work anymore. At my age?  That would be ludicrous.

It's really unreasonable.  The fruitcakes may react negatively, but they'll take it and move on.  Not like they have another choice.

Wow... that was a really pathetic retort to McCain's "go to Iraq" statements.

First off, McCain HAS been to all those places.  Second, McCain DOES support energy independence.  Thirdly, Obama has made it quite clear that he thinks he is running against Bush.

Update on the stuff no one cares about:

- BRTD really botched Sioux Falls
- Only new update from Montana is that Petroleum County, a rural one, is in as 38-27-4 Clinton

He had a nice intonational punctuation, that got the crowd going. It was quite well done!  No he's bashing religion and patriotism dividers who use it all as a "bludgeon."

Obama just spent 5 minutes polarizing the electorate... then criticizes Republicans for doing so.  And now he is talking as though McCain came out for segregation.

Obama only carried the U of SD county by 6%. It must be short of "bohemians."

And you think McCain's offer was popular with Americans?

Obama really has to stop talking about:

1.  His state senate record.

2.  His years as a community activist.

It has a smaller non-student population than most uni counties do, and its outlaying areas are the sort of places that Clinton would play very well.

Still waiting for Shannon.  Sad

Ignore the blanked-out states. This map says they do not exist.

And why should we not ignore them?  They ignored everyone who couldn't make it out to their stupid ass caucuses.
Are you a Democrat? no so just shut up.

It is merely symbolic of what I hate about Obama.  All this false idealism, false unity, hypocrisy in approaching issues, and false notions Obama as some kind of savior.

Two more rural counties have semi-reported, Jefferson (Obama +21) and Sweet Grass (Obama +10).  They're very standard rural counties, other than Jefferson having a number of mental health facilities.

For a "sermon" it was quite well done. Kudos to Obama. McCain needs to show a bit more passion I think given all of this. He needs to be locked up for about a month working on improving his use of the teleprompter and intonation modulation skills. Still, I think it was a bit too personal against McCain. But I'm biased.
