Maybe she'll run for the House one day.

Statewide though? Yes.

I don’t like that she’s become a meme. Stacey Abrams is one of the main reasons GA is competitive now — if not due to her organizing then because of her historic run for Governor in 2018 which made people wake up and pay attention to our state.

That said, her two losses show she is not the candidate to crack GA at the gubernatorial level and she should step aside for other contenders.

Couple hundred years into the future, she'll get elected United Earth President. Right after the Captain of the USS Discovery pronounces Elon Musk a visionary legend for humanity's technological progress on par with the Wright Brothers.

So grateful for her work in Georgia but she’s just not a good canidate, period.

In fact she’s a terrible canidate.

I wonder if Keisha Lance Bottoms would’ve been able to win in ‘18 - doubtful in ‘22 due to Kemps anti trump moderate thing

Kemp was unbeatable in 2022. Warnock winning the Senate race in spite of the otherwise Republican sweep is noteworthy. That said, I don’t think Abrams is the Democrat to win in 2026. They should go look elsewhere. Maybe James Beverly or Lucy McBath. Or a US Attorney.

Hasn’t the whole ‘Abrams turned GA blue’ media frenzy been largely debunked? She is largely useless and a bad politician.

That's about my guess. Maybe she wins if a safely Democratic House seat opens up but after losing the Governor's race twice I think Stacey Abrams is finished as far as anything larger than that, at least in the short term.

Tbf, given his narrow margin, I'm pretty sure Warnock could've been toppled by a strong GOP candidate. He got lucky that the GAGOP nominated one of the worst candidates possible for the seat.

In retrospect, the best thing Abrams could have done was go for Lewis' congressional seat after he died in 2020.  At that time she was too focused on weirdly angling to be Biden's VP choice, however.

She's not popular, at least not beyond her base of support.  She's also not particularly likeable.  That's not unusual for a candidate like her who's candidacy is focused somewhat on breaking a glass ceiling of some kind or another, but she's not likeable in way that cause her difficulty in expanding her base.

If she wants to make a career in POLITICS, she should either become a highly-paid consultant or seek appointive office.  If, God forbid, Biden is re-elected, I'm sure there would be a cabinet position she could handle that would giver her visibility.  I could never see her being elected statewide in Georgia; people came to like her less the more exposure of her they received.

weirdly angling...that is an understatement.  The whole thing was creepy.
