Hopefully we'll see that same trends throughout all the swing states. Indies are going to be huge in the general elections.

Sadly, they aren't as liberal in most of the swing states.

Yea, plus WA isn't a swing state.

It doesn't look like one this year but it has been considered one in the recent past.

You're welcome.... Wink

Washington state is definitely out of play, and Oregon is looking unlikely to swing to McCain at this point baring some sort of major national gaffe.

Washington is definitely not a swing state, since Obama is very popular there, and McCain is very unpopular there.

Independents, thankfully, are not so liberal like in this state, and are going to decide the fate of many states like New Hampshire.

Independents here in New Hampshire are fairly liberal-leaning as well.

I'm drooling just thinking about how helpful this will be down the ballot here.

I'm not sure Obama will win by 16% in the general election, however, I think he will definitely win by a double-digit margin.  My prediction:

WASHINGTON PRESIDENT -
55% (D) Obama
43% (R) McCain

Why is Washington such an Obama love-fest?

The Eastside apparently is too busy salivating over the prospect of electing an anti-war black to notice that John McCain isn't George W. Bush

No, he's just a guy who is absolutely identical to Bush on every important issue.

Thinking about McCain gives Alcon a boner for some reason.
