Wealthy Iranian-Americans, for example, actually tend to be Republican.

So I would say most Muslims are Democratic, but there are some exceptions, especially in the higher income brackets.

Most Iranians are not religious. Practicing Muslims of all income levels vote heavily Democratic.

Makes you wonder how muslims would trend if the GOP were to go back to a more isolationist bent in future elections.

Are you suggesting that we become isolationist just to cater to the Muslim vote?

That would be a good idea, but not for that reason.

Actually no, neither the idea nor the reason is good.

What now is so bad about spending our taxpayer dollars on us and not foreign imperialism?

Right, every single intervention from the American side is "foreign imperialism". Roll Eyes

To me it's imperialism when people argue that we're putting troops in 130 countries and intervening in so many conflicts in order to preserve our "prosperity."

FWIW, the nativist elements of isolationism will not appeal to Muslims. Just sayin'.
