Christianity used to be a cult in Rome when a bunch of cults were going around.  The empire was sorta on the decline, people turned to cults, Christianity was one of them.  Now that they're so big it's easy for Christians to do the same thing Romans did to them.

Yup yup and just like Christianity was to the Pagans, Latter-Day-Saints are to other Christian denominations, they borrow from their religions.

For example December 25th has no proven accuracy as the date Jesus was born on, it is the day of Sol Invictus, a celebration of the sun in pagan society in Rome. Christianity borrowed traditions from the pagans and the latter-day-saints have borrowed from the rest of Christianity and both added their own in.

(NOTE: These changes and borrowings were for different reasons I'd assume as the reason for borrowing from the pagan religions was that Constantine wanted a smooth change of religion in the empire from paganism to Christianity and keeping the same holidays was a way of preventing dissent)

I believe there's something in the Bible near the end that says nobody can add to it, which would discount the Book of Mormon and the Koran/Qu'ran.

No it would not discount either considering they're different books.

Yes, god told John in the bible that it can not be added to or detracted from and to do so would make one accursed.

Obviously you aren't getting it...THEY ARE DIFFERENT BOOKS!  BTW I'm also still waiting for the scripture references of the other post you made.

The book of Mormon is incompatible with the Bible.
