carol moseley-braun received 9 delegates despite not being on the ballot in the state.

where they superdelegates?  who were they?  and why did they endorse braun?

All I know thus far is that they were pledged delegates, not superdelegates, but presumably stemmed from the 23% 'uncommitted' vote share.
