Why was Eisenhower a good president?

The economy remained strong during his first term, though by 1960, it was in the crapper. The Interstate Highway from NY to CA was built.

Presiding during a good economy doesn't mean you did anything to help it.

The Interstate system was unconstitutional, but a good idea.

I'm not an isolationist, so Taft would not have attracted me.

Warren might have, but I would have been one with J. Edgar Hoover that Japanese Americans should not have been interned as they were.  That's a definite minus (remember this was well before Brown vs. Board).

I'd probably go with Ike.

I frankly don't know enough about Stassen to make the determination about him.
