Does any one know if Bob Graham has retired from the Senate to run for governor in 2006.

I know if he served as governor from 1979-1987, so is he eligible to run again should he choose to do do?

i think his recent bout with insanity forced graham to retire from politics.

the dems tried to recruit that rascal to run against jeb in 02, but he declined.  i guess he was preparing for that unimpressive presidential bid.

Would you really consider that a run for the Presidency? The man was polling equal with Braun and Sharpton at times! I think he was trying for VP.

sadly, i do think that was a bona fide presidential run.  he went pretty far off the deep end.

if he was positioning himself for VP, he probably would have stuck with the same ol' boring bob routine weve grown used to for so many years.

along with holding the record for most spiral bound notepads filled up with useless info, graham also holds the record for most times rejected for a VP slot....mondale, dukakis, clinton, gore, and kerry.

I loved during the debates when he said "We have a Pinnochio President" Those primary debates we're full of ridiculous one-liners that always had me hysterical. How about Gephardt's "This President is a miserable failure." Maybe he meant to say "My campaign to be President is a miserable failure."

The 2004 Democratic Primary - Thanks for the laughs.

Yes, Sharpton had some very good one-liners.

Anyway, yes, I do seriously agree. Each candidate may have had some strengths, but they were were all outweighed by the weaknesses. I thought the best possible candidate we have is Gov. Bill Richardson, and I stand by that statement.

But yet Kerry is still in position to win or come awfully close.

Sharpton's best line: "I mean, Dwight Eisenhower was never elected to anything before he was elected president....In a time that we no longer have a Cold War, there is no real threat."

Kucinich's Best Line: "If people voted for me I could be electable."
