I would love to see Obama or Biden make a trip to Arizona.

They won't do that, but Obama does have a 30 minute primetime TV spot airing tomorrow that will hit a lot of households in Arizona un-answered.

Isn't that kind of like being tied in New York City, and having the Adirondacks tip the balance for your candidate?

Campaigning in Arizona would be really bad form. It would serve no other reason but to humiliate McCain.

Obama doesn't need it. Leave it alone.

I hope he pays a visit to Phoenix or Tucson after the election. Phoenix is one of the largest cities in the country and surely has a lot of Obama supporters.

Bush needed TN. Obama would likey be well over 350 before AZ falls.

Sounds like a good enough reason to go there.

Sounds like a good enough reason to go there.

Conversely, why it would be bad politics for Obama to go.

Can we all agree that a candidate's sense of what's right and wrong has no place in this discussion and isn't the motivator?

I don't trust any internal polling, and at this point Obama just wants to ride the current wave to a landslide victory. Going to Arizona is a risk he doesn't need to take, unless he really wants to help get rid of Shadegg or something.

I'd rather he go to Georgia.

I do too, but I'm not sure he would help Jim Martin there.
