Your 2010-2011 Northeast Budget passed the Assembly by a 6-1 vote, with 1 absence. I don't know whether you must legally sign it.

The Amendments to the Northeast Gun Safety Act are still on your desk.

Bills on the Governor's desk for signature:

- Amendments to the Northeast Gun Safety Act

I, AndrewCT, Governor of the Northeast, hereby sign the following bill:

- Amendments to the Northeast Gun Safety Act

  x Governor AndrewCT

Sorry, for some reason I thought I had signed this already. Anyways, there it is, and to the best of my knoweledge (which is very limited), I dont have to sign the budget.. but I'm guessing I can sign it later on today if the voting period is over, since it cant hurt to make sure.

Governor - I must inform you that Rep. Mr. Moderate has missed three consecutive votes without posting an official leave of absence.  This technically means that he is expelled from the Assembly under Article V, Section xiii of the New Northeast Constitution.  You should be able to remedy that by reappointing him.

This is somewhat highjacking the purpose of the constitution's article, even though I really want Mr Moderate to remain in the Assembly too.

There are no limits on who the Governor can appoint to fill a vacancy.  The governor tried to name someone who resigned before.

We've probably ignored missed votes in the past, but constitutionally, we cannot.

Hmmm.. well if anyone is interested in serving in the Assembly, please send me an email. If Mr. Moderate is still interested in serving, he is still able to send me a PM of interest, and hopefully a reason why he missed the votes.

Silent Spade has the endorsement of the Populares to fill any open seat in the Northeast Assembly.

Thanks, but I'm wondering whether or not that will help me in this particular situation. Smiley

Good Evening,

Sorry for the delay, but I was out and about for a while today dealing with the snow, so I didnt have a chance to announce my appointment to the Assembly. I'll keep this short, but I'd like to announce that I am appointing Silent Spade to the vacant Assembly seat. I hope you will all join me in welcoming him!

Why didn't you sign the Lt. Governor Vacancy Amendment?  It won't be on the ballot now.

The Northeast Order of Precedence Act is also still on your desk.

Well, first I'd like to say that it has obviously became apparent that I have lost re-election. I'll make this all short and sweet.

I would like to take this time to congratulate our next Governor-elect FallenMorgan. I would like to wish him the best of luck in this office, as I wish all our newly elected officials the best of luck. We still have a long and difficult road ahead of us, and I look forward to seeing what happens.  Of course, I would also like to thank all the support that I recieved in this race. It was greatly appreciated, and I am honored for your votes.

I want to make it clear that I have no hard feelings to anyone who voted against me in this election. In my time in Atlasia, I have been honored to serve in several capacties. First as our Chief Judicial Officer, than elected to the Governors office. At-large Senator, regional Senator, and was lastly elected back to the greatest position in Atlasia, Governor of the Northeast. Nearly two terms as Senator, and 5 terms as Governor is something I am proud of, and its a great experience that I will never forget.

Alas, it looks like its time for this ol' man to get some rest. Who knows what the future might bring, but of one thing I'm sure, I will always remain here in the region I love.

Thank you all! AND DAVE BLESS!

Somehow, I'm not especially surprised by the result. I guess you and I both have to accept that in Atlasian terms, we're dinosaurs.  Wink

In any case, thank you for your service, Andrew. You were a capable governor and did as good a job you could with the terrible deck of cards the Assembly kept dealing you.
