let's say Kerry selections Bill Clinton as his running mate arguing that the Constitution simply says no one may be ELECTED president more than twice. The Republicans challenge it in court and lose, the court rules Clinton is eligible for VP.

What would the election be like now? Kerry would have Arkansas sewed up, I don't know much else.

Clinton would draw all of the people's views to him because he is a more charming candidate than Kerry.  It would practically be Clinton ruling the White House and Kerry being Vice-president.
