That's completely unexpected.  I expected at least True Fed to get in.

Given that there were seven seats & five candidates, I wouldn't call any result completely unexpected, other than something really out there (like Duke losing or both JCP candidates losing).

Well that's interesting. My count resulted in something different, but there's certainly plenty of opportunities to make a mistake somewhere.

True. The numbers are very tight, any unexpectedly invalidated vote could shake-up the result.
It's the most difficult count I can recall - distributing shua's surplus is horrid, and I'm quite tired... so yeah, there could be an error in there somewhere.

Closest election I can recall in a long time - only about a vote a half separating 2nd through 6th.

My count without invalidations had Oakvalv with 13, the rest sans teddy with 12 first preferences... VERY close. Good luck counting that one.

It seems like they cared more about propping up Ghostwhite than voting for shua.

Because, you know, the Northeast is their little toy, and they don't want to lose it.

The populares? Oh yes, I remember now. Weren't they a political party?

Seriously, we are not far from that point, and it ain't like I haven't tried to warn them. Tongue

No time left for you....you need not wonder why.

Such a great song.

If it makes you feel any better, even I kind of slipped up this time around on the GOTV efforts. Tongue

Not intending to speak for Yankee, but I myself do not wish that they would recruit zombies. I do, however, wish that they would recruit new members. Smiley

I know... Just that the likelihood of a new populares member to be a zombie is quite high.

The likelihood of any new member being a zombie is quite high. The problem in Atlasia is that there doesn't seem to be enough of a will to recruit new members to run for office.

Are the populares the only ones with zombies? Are they the only ones with sh**tty incompetent officeholders? The honest answer to both is NO and NO.

Of course not. But you can't deny that a disproportionate share of zombie voters and incompetent officeholders are from the Populares.

You remind me of some of the racist hicks around here who claim that the disproportionate number of hispanics are illegals and blacks are criminals. Unless you have a done an intense qunatiative analysis, I insist you cease and disist in your prejudices. Tongue
