I see dc_troll got PiT to vote for Mint since if he didn't she wouldn't be his friend anymore! Roll Eyes

It couldn't have anything to do with their ideological similarities or on-line friendship, oh, no.

Actually, DC United is PiT's ex girlfriend in real life.

I know this. Is there any evidence whatsoever that she had anything to do with his vote, and not his clearly aforementioned statements in preference of the ARC?

It doesn't effect the overall result, so it doesn't matter, so I don't really give a damn about it.

Oh look, another highly respected Atlasian supporting the ARC candidate.
What is your problem with people deciding for themselves that the ARC has the best candidate to offer?

Because that isn't the case at all, and you either know it, and you're just reading the talking points handed to you, or you're ignorant. It's no coincidence that former inactive members in the RPP are voting for Mint. I just wish they'd all just register in the ARC so Hamilton can stop claiming how much broad party support his guy is getting, but then he can't make that claim, so he won't. Crap like this is what makes it hard to warm up to your party.

Excuse me, maybe the people have been inactive until now because the old party system was not at all welcoming to them.

How did I know what you were going to say before you said it?

I don't know, perhaps you should go play the lotto?

I wish the lotto was as predictable as Mr. Hamilton's talking points. Sad

Ah, run! Look at all this zombies!!! It's like the night of the living dead, up in this place!!

Vote against JCP/RPP = Zombie

Actually, just if all your voters have about 200 posts on average, only post a few times a month, and then all of a sudden vote in the election all for the same guy who, for many of them, isn't even in their party.

Although I don't think I have to spell it out for most people. The population is pretty intelligent.

First, don't insult my friends. Angry

Second, Mint coming in first would be a huge moral victory, if you look at which Senator's seat he'd be taking.

I actually think he might have been banned. Dave hasn't said anything but Hamilton also hasn't posted today and thus is behind by about 200 posts.

I have been fascinated by the way the STV seat allocation works for some time. I still don't care much for the At-large seats as a whole though. Just found that tidbit about them slightly interesting.

Ahem.  The way I see it, Badger is taking Marokai's seat, Duke is taking Rowan's seat, and Mint is taking Franzl's seat.

Is there some rhyme or reason, or method behind the madness to this?

I think the highest non-incumbent takes the seat of the oldest retiring senator.

Yes, ideology.  Although Franzl and Mint aren't really a match, they are the ones left over after the other two pairs are appropriatelly matched.

I've been deeply interested in the partisan breakdown of the Senate ever since the Senate History page was updated to include it. Grin

Non-incumbents take the seats in order of election, just with any re-elected incumbents holding the same seat they had going into the election.
