Clinton: 46%
Obama: 43%
Undecided: 11%

About 15-percent of the registered voters reached by our polling team said they have already voted early. Of the Democrats in that group, 50-percent say they voted for Clinton, and 50-percent say they voted for Obama.

Among self-described white voters, Clinton holds an 11-point lead, 49 to 38 percent. She is also ahead among Hispanics, 63 to 30 percent. Among African Americans, Obama holds a commanding lead: 72 to 17 percent.

On the Republican side, Sen. John McCain is well ahead of former Governor Mike Huckabee, 59 to 29 percent. However, Huckabee and McCain are nearly tied among Texans who describe themselves as evangelical Christians, with McCain pulling ahead slightly – 47 to 42 percent.

...

Methodology

Public Strategies interviewed 800 likely Texas presidential primary voters statewide February 24-25, 2008. The sample included 507 registered voters who said they are likely to vote in the Democratic primary and 293 who said they are likely to vote in the Republican primary. The sampling error for the sample of likely Democratic primary voters is ±4.4 percentage points at the 95% confidence interval. The sampling error for the sample of likely Republican primary voters is ±5.7 percentage points at the 95% confidence interval. Night 3 and following nights this number will go to 1200 with a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points.

Seems to be new in polling, but the numbers look accurate.

Yeah, but if we can even come close in Texas, should we win it?

Yeah, but if we can even come close in Texas, should we win it?

With the media blowing this up as "do or die!" for Clinton in these states, anything less than an actual win in either Texas or Ohio or both is going to be a blow to Obama. Even though they might be small wins and Obama still has an edge in delegates, Clinton is still going to be alive and in no way is she dropping out if she wins them all.
