With her recent remarks and her campaign is going down the tubes IMHO.

I just saw the mocking against the Obama speeches she did at a rally (was it in Texas) on CNN(i). I can't comprehend that. There is just no way to nominate her now anymore. She's just desparate.

If she attacks like this in the Cleveland debate... shame on her.
If she again smiles and talks about how "fine both will be"... shame on her.
Any other outcome... she's finished anyway.

If by some miracle she manages to steal the nomination from Obama, there is just NO NO NO way she can win the GE.

I'm disappointed she doesn't do the best for her party (and for her country therefore) and just drops out endorsing Obama... the window for doing that in a good way is slowly closing.

Yes, Sen. Clinton has conducted herself in a rather base, undignified manner these last few days

Agreed, except I'd say months- ever since Iowa.

Why? They both will  be fine. One of them will win the nomination and the other one will go back to the Senate. That's better than most Americans can say.

I was listening to the Stephanie Miller radio show this morning, and a listener brought up a decent point-- that Hillary is treating this adversary in public in a way that she alleges she wouldn't treat, say a foreign adversary from North Korea or whatever, with the sarcastic mocking she used in RI.  So, maybe she would act like that to foreign leaders. People who have radio talk shows can act like that. A presidential candidate shouldn't ever act like that about an opponent. She has tried to position herself this whole campaign as the most presidential and now she's showing that she isn't even that.

It's certainly a good job that Obama's supporters don't resort to desperate and childish mocking of Hillary Clinton.  Like calling her 'Killary', for example.  Otherwise they'd lose a lot of their credibility when trying to maintain a moral high ground, you see.

I can call her Hillabitch or Hildebeest or whatever all I want. Obama shouldn't, though. There's a very big difference.

That's fine and certainly your prerogative, provided you don't want your opinions to be taken seriously.

I agree with Joe. Hillary really hasn't behaved much differently than most politicians in similar situations.

Oh, this board is now "Firing Line" or something where we tighten our jaw and talk in very serious and deliberate tones?  Lighten up, Francis.

That wasn't quite what I was getting at; I wasn't referring to Barack Obama himself.  But still, I agree with your statement.

Hell no!  I certainly have no intention of taking anybody seriously on here, myself very much included.

When was the last time a candidate acted like they were in a Saturday Night Live skit and mocked their opponent in a baseless way (Obama talks about how hard creating change will be every speech-- it's only a The Daily Show level of informativeness that doesn't realize that)? Obama was actually on Saturday Night Live and didn't mock Hillary while there, the perfect opportunity!

Where did I refer to Barack Obama himself? Wink

Besides it was "I agree with Joe" *awkward pause* "Hillary really hasn't behaved much differently than most politicians in similar situations." so the last part I thought of as my own creation and not as a reference to you.

Which I suppose is kinda the point, she's 'just another politician'. Whereas the people, apparently, want something more than that.

she's acting as if any politician would act. I found her video quite funny and it was accurate. Obama's campaign, in many cases, is ridicules.

"Enough with the speeches and the big rallies..."

I understand what she's getting at but come on. I literally cry from laughing so hard everytime I hear/read that. Her "celestial" commentary was amazing also.

One very important aspect of campaigning which people tend to overlook, is that one's "campaign persona" should remain mostly constant and that any evolution of it is only acceptable as long as it comes across as both believable and reasonable.

Hillary and her campaign team don't seem to realize that all those overreactive shifts in tone with respect to Obama have been very jarring to people and have possibly contributed the most to her electoral meltdown; they make her look like she is suffering from histrionic personality disorder.

Hillary ( and Obama ) for that matter stay away from race, gender, and religion.  They also need to make sure they don't try to "over turn" the primary process by super delegates and don't get credit for delegates that they gained when their opponent was not on the ballot.

Now, I've trashed Hillary on this board and would do the same to Obama if he tried it.

I will not vote for Hillary case closed.

However, her mocking Obama?  That's just fair game

She's unhinged. She could have lost gracefully but it looks like she'll just go down in flames.
