Not especially. She's a professional politician; defeat is just an occupational hazard and it isn't as though she's lost her seat or anything.

BRTD, how could you possibly feel sympathy for Romney? He was a terrible candidate. I'd vote for Huckabee in a heartbeat over him, and the latter would put me in a re-education camp.

Because he's a better man than the one who will be the GOP nominee. And so is Huckabee for that matter.

A "better man" by what standard exactly?

More honest and less politically sleazy.

Are you out of your mind? Romney was the least honest and most sleazy candidate in the entire campaign in either party. He flat out lied to Michigan voters, telling them he could get their jobs back. As Springsteen once said, "those jobs are going boys, and they ain't coming back." How is buying your way to the top of the ticket not sleazy? McCain is a hero for what he went through in Vietnam. Romney is nothing without his cult following.

No sympathy from me.  The Clintons are corrupt to the bone.  Plus, they were all about power.  They were the Democratic Party's version of Richard Nixon.

The house has landed on the witch in the form of the black messiah Obama.  Quick, someone remove her slippers.  As was stated above  --  Ding dong.......

Yes, on the condition that she and Bill work their asses off to secure Obama's election in November. I don't want to see a divided Democratic Party going into the fall especially against McCain, who is, undoubtedly, the strongest Republican nominee - despite his problems with the 'very conservatives'. The sheer foolishness of the New York Times has done him an immense favor on that score, unless it was their intent to do him good

I do feel that, second to only Giuliani, Clinton has waged the most arrogant campaign this presidential cycle with her sense of entitlement to the Democratic nomination. She had taken for granted that Super Tuesday would have effectively wrapped up the nomination for her by forcing all her rivals out, but that wasn't to be. Special mention to Romney, however, for thinking he could 'buy' his way to the nomination but, at least, he worked the early states. It was sheer arrogance for Giuliani to stake all on Florida and expect to get away with passing on the early states. Still, it couldn't have happened to a nicer fella

Obama has campaign in every state, she focused too much on the big prizes and, effectively, conceeded February. Then, of course, there's the matter of money ... and Obama has been raising it beyond any one's expectations, so I can't blame Clinton entirely

If the Clinton's works to undermine Obama, in the event of his nomination, however, ...

Yes. Unlike some Obama supporters, I don't hate Clinton. I think she'd be a good President, but Obama is still far better both as a candidate and also would be in office.

So yeah, I do feel badly for her in some respects; I can see why she'd be upset given that it was her "turn". But unfortunately for her the Democrats don't choose candidates based on seniority. If this had been a Republican primary, Clinton would've won easily (especially since the big states would've been mostly winner take all).

Never thought I'd say this but I do feel a lot of sympathy for her. If she had been beaten from the right by someone like Mark Warner or Bayh I'd have little sympathy but to be beaten by the embodiment of the nutroots is a sad sign about how far the Democrats have fallen. I'd have leant towards McCain anyway but now I want him to crush Obama.

She should have dropped out after Wisconsin. Hence, no.

No. She is a horrible excuse for a human being. Maybe this loss will cause her to change who she is, like the Grinch at the end of the movie.
