Democrats Abroad Global Primary results:

Obama 65.6%
Clinton 32.7%
Edwards 0.7%
Kucinich 0.6%
uncommitted 0.2%
Richardson 0.1%
Biden 0.1%

http://www.democratsabroad.org/article/2008/02/20/obama-wins-democrats-obama-wins-democrats-abroad-global-primary

I'm not quite sure why the delegate count is so close though.

Not surprising.   Americans residing abroad tend to be very liberal.

Sounds about right, though I'd almost expected an even higher figure. Did anyone vote Gravel?

Gravel wasn't on the ballot in the Dem Abroad primary. Neither was Dodd for some reason.

I don't suppose anyone would be willing to make a global results map?

One Irish guy did vote for Kucinich though.

Total: Obama 62.5% Clinton 36.5% Others 1.1%.

Clinton won Israel, The Phillippines, The Domincian Republic (by winning 606 out of the 669 voters..) Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Gabon and a few other countries which only listed one or two votes. (The last three I mentioned only had votes.)

Though for some reason Clinton fans tended to like sending their ballots by Mail or by fax apparently, or at least alot more than Obama supporters did.

It wouldn't be very representative, outside of Europe and a couple of other large countries. Quite a few countries with under 5 votes.

Results from interesting places:

Iraq: Obama 8, Clinton 6
Dominican Republican: Clinton 606, Obama 65 (only interesting cause why are there so many and why are they better than 90% Clinton)
Mexico: Obama 883, Clinton 626, Others 51 (maybe Hillary's South Texas strategy won't work)
Venezuela: Obama 10, Clinton 4
PR China: Obama 310, Clinton 78, Others 4
Vietnam: Obama 26, Clinton 6, Others 1
Russia: Obama 122, Clinton 35, Others 1
Serbia: Obama 6, Clinton 3
Palestine: Obama 1, Clinton 0
Saudi Arabia: Obama 17, Clinton 5
Sudan: Obama 6, Clinton 0 (where Darfur is)
Israel: Clinton 190, Obama 159, Others 5 (lol)

Something tells me that the Dominican Republic is a typographical error.

I called them and apparently Hillary had astounding organization in the Dominican Republic.  And I'm guessing the woman who answered the phone was a Hillary supporter, because she seemed offended by the implication that the results seemed surprising.

Obama only won the delegates 2.5-2, but there are another 2.5 delegates to be reported. I wonder if the media realizes they're going to have to start reporting fractional delegates.

It just seems very odd that there were so many more voters in the Dominican Republic than in China, Russia, Israel, etc.

Honestly, I still suspect it was an error...then again... Wink

The thing is, if the numbers were a typo (and Clinton won 66 or 60 votes instead of 606), then Obama may go over two-thirds worldwide and take 3 delegates to Clinton's 1.5. You'd have to do the math, but it would be very close.

Edit: Yes, it does make a difference in delegates. If there were 540 fewer votes cast in the Dominican Republic and thus overall, and all of those votes came from Clinton (which assumes that 606 was a typo for 66), then Obama won 66.9% of the vote worldwide and gains a half-delegate from Clinton.
