Obama got a superdelegate out of the Teamsters endorsement, too.

What is the best site at tallying these almost daily superdelegate changes?

Politico tends to run a day or two behind, but they have the most comprehensive list (and they actually mention each superdelegate by name instead of just providing a number that can't be verified).

Generally speaking I find http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/ to be the best for superdelegate counts.

http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/01/superdelegate-list.html is the best place to go. You'll see the last 11 to endorse have all gone to Obama, 2 of them switching from Clinton

Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) has said that he voted for Obama in this week's primary, and will likely vote for him at the convention.  link.

DNC Connie Borde (D-DA) has said that she is supporting Obama "for now."  She may "fall in line" for Clinton if the mood of the party swings in her direction, however.  Borde, as a superdelegate from Democrats abroad, only has a half-vote at the convention. link

DNC Leon Lynch (D-PA), former VP of United Steelworkers of America, has endorsed Obama.  "I am endorsing Barack Obama because he is the only candidate I have encountered who truly has the capability to activate, motivate, and lead the American people in a new direction."  link (on an Obama website, but seems credible).

From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

Dem superdelegate from Pittsburgh backs Obama
Friday, February 22, 2008
The Associated Press
A fourth Pennsylvania superdelegate has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Leon Lynch, a retired vice president of the steelworkers union from Pittsburgh, announced his endorsement in a statement released by the Illinois senator's campaign.

In the statement, Mr. Lynch says Mr. Obama is the only candidate he's met capable of motivating and leading the American people in a new directiion.

Mr. Obama has previously been endorsed by three other Pennsylvania superdelegates.

Thirteen have endorsed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and the other 12 remain neutral.

The other 12 will be paying attention to the next few weeks.

Not sure whether Clinton's been endorsed by any Ohio newspapers, but if not, Obama is well on his way to a clean sweep in Ohio as in Texas. The Dayton Daily News has endorsed him.

It was apparently quite dramatic an endorsement, too.

When's the last time Hillary received a new endorsement from a superdelegate? I imagine it's been quite awhile.

But from this thread it sounds as if she just reiterated her support, not announced it.

Seemingly, the Akron Beacon Journal endorsed Clinton

Not exactly influencial, but The Daily Texan of the University of Texas at Austin surprisingly endorsed Clinton:

A student newspaper endorsing Clinton? That's a bit ... strange. How did that happen?

This summarizes how ridiculous that endorsement was. As someone who occasionally reads Daily Texans lying on the seats of the bus, I am very disappointed in them. Tongue
