Class: tweaked the model slightly. But, as always, don't take as fact, take as an impression. Sorry it's just at CD level (it gets, well in theory, more accurate the lower down you go). Might do some stuff with the counties around Milwaukee if I have time.

Age: this is % over 65

Agriculture: % employed in agriculture

Income: Median HH Income

Roman Catholic: % RC

German: % German

More maps likely after the result. Note that there's no point in a "race" map of any sort; Milwaukee county is about a quarter black, most of the rest of the state is lily white and that's that.

Except Menominee County, which is overwhelmingly majority Native (and, as the map shows, poor, young, and Catholic).

I've missed this in the past, so could you elaborate on your class formula?  I'd love to be able to make use of it in the future in areas I'm more familiar with...

Excellent!  I have some expectations about what to see in Wisconsin tonight, but the state has a tendency to surprise, so I'm tempering for tonight...

It started life as doing little more than adding together the % of people in certain occupations with the % of people who rent. Ah, happy days. Since then it's gotten... um... perhaps a little complicated.
I'll dig up the summary thing I use and PM it to you.
