excluding bloomberg of nyc.

any other big city mayor have the gravitas and experience to land on a national ticket?

i know mcgovern strongly considered kevin white of boston in 72

and in 84 mondale considered tom bradley of la and dianne feinstein of san fran.

Didnt he endorse Clinton though? I doubt any major city mayor would be chosen for a VP slot.

Yes he did. I remember him coming on Foxnews on Super Tuesday saying Hillary would win California.
